Shane Applebee brings an astounding 35 years of dedicated experience to Applebee Oil & Propane. Having grown up alongside the family business, Shane has filled nearly every role in the company, developing a profound, ground-level understanding of what it takes to run a safe and efficient fuel enterprise. As President, Shane oversees the strategic direction, infrastructure, and overall safety standards of our delivery networks and service centers in Ovid, St. Johns, and Owosso.

Shane’s extensive practical knowledge is backed by rigorous technical training and official credentials. He is fully licensed by the State of Michigan, holding a Mechanical License in Propane under LP Permit #7113934. Safety and operational precision are Shane’s top priorities; he has completed intensive foundational programs including Basic Propane Plant Operations, Propane Safety Training, and Basic Plant Operations. When he is not managing fuel logistics or ensuring regulatory compliance across Mid-Michigan, Shane can be found enjoying a relaxing afternoon out on the golf course, clear-headed and ready for the next busy winter heating season.
